Mr. Henry Lee (Eddie) Lewis, Sr.
of Tampa passed away on Tuesday,
December 12, 2023. A Celebration of
Life Service will be held Saturday,
December 23, 2023, with a viewing at
12:00 pm, followed by the memorial
service at 1:00 pm at True Life
Community Worship Center, Pastors
Calvin & Angela Green. The service
will be officiated by Pastor Paul
Buster of New Macedonia M. B.
Church.
Mr. Lewis was born April 13,
1941 in Albany, Georgia. He came
to Tampa in his early 20’s. He was
married to Annie Bell Lewis for over
35 years. He worked in security and
management for over 20 years at the
New Lounge. He enjoyed smoking
cigars and socializing.
He was preceded in death by: Ms.
Annie Mae Shingles Lewis, Mother;
Mr. Angel Lewis, Father; Brothers:
Willie C. Lewis, W. C. Green,
Clarence Lewis, William Lewis;
Sisters: Katie Mae Porter, Eula Pearl
Thomas.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
Daughters: Elizabeth (Liz) Lewis,
Phyllis Lewis, Theresa Lewis,
Patricia Sheard (Cris) of Albany,
GA, Shirley Williams of Albany, GA,
Yolanda Lewis; Sons: Henry Lewis,
Jr., Calvin Lewis, Sr., Anthony
Lewis, Sr., Leslie Lewis, Sr., Lenthia
Lewis, Sr., and Alvin Lewis. Broth-
ers: Alton Lewis, Alex Lewis (Ethel
Lewis), John Lewis (Ada Lewis), Ben
Lewis; Sister: Dennie Cross, all of
Albany, GA.
A host of grandchildren, great
grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and
friends.
Family and friends are asked to
meet at the church for the viewing
and service on Saturday morning at
12:00 p.m. Masks Are Recommend-
ed.
