A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Doris Williams who passed away on January 5, 2022, will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 North 40th Street, Tampa, Florida. Keith Bryon Ritman (Associate Pastor of One Way Christian Church 2100 West McCormick Rd, Apopka, Florida) will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
Doris Williams was born in Tampa, Florida, August 27, 1939, to James and Mozell Coleman. Doris received her education through Hillsborough County Schools and graduated from Middleton High School. She later worked as a Teachers Aide in the Hillsborough County School system before retiring. Mother Doris’ mind was open for her spirit to be holy and ready to enter into God’s Holy Kingdom.
She was born-again in water and in her heart. She overcame her flesh, giving her the Victory in Christ; and was a devoted wife, and mother of four sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Williams Sr.; son: Gregory Williams; parents: James and Mozell Coleman; brothers: James and Authar; sisters: Netta, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Mozell (aka Bernice), and Grace. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her sons: Alfred Williams Jr. (Tyiese), Darryl Williams, Reggie Williams (Regina), and Sister: Mary Lundy (Orlando). Grandchildren: Jacquelyn (aka Connie), Minyon, Felnicia (aka Neecee), Alnicia, Schiranny, Dante’, Dionne, Shajuanna Kitchen Pate (Michael), Serena, Deja, P.J, Latesha, Jamal (aka Peanut), Reggie Jr., Taylor (Kenny), Jakobe, and Javen. Great-grandchildren: Grace, Jamaal, Tahj, Isayah, Zaniyah, Legend, Gregory, Eugene, Katelynn, Miracle, Brylan, Bailey, Jordan, Jamal, Jamel, Kenny Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends as well as her friend and Caregiver Rose Smith.
There will be a viewing on Saturday, January 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Northside M. B. Church, and the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m.
All CDC guidelines will be followed. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
