Carolyn Dickey was born November 20, 1957 in Tampa, Florida to the
late Clarence Dickey and Rutha Mae Gates. She was the third born of
five children. She attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Dickey
and Rutha Gates; her son Jerome Berry; grandchildren, Cedric Doster,
Shurina Doster, Willie Boyd III, and Davin McDonald; brothers,
Earnest Gilyard and Jackie Gilyard.
She leaves cherished memories with her children, Sabrina Dickey,
Tanya Dickey, Kishia Dickey, Alexandria Haynes, Rosena Harris; two
bonus daughters, Tameisha Williams Morgan (niece), and Laquita
Wilson (Fiancé Joseph Tillis); brothers, Eugene Gilyard (Cynthia
Gilyard); sisters, Sharon Dickey, Betty Jean Pierce, and Cora Stokes;
grandchildren, Charles Dickey, Eric Henderson, Clarence Doster,
Antonio Henderson, Malcenia Freeman, Johnny Ross, Anthony Cole,
Jeromeisha Williams, Malquisha Freeman, Alexandra Haynes, Zhane
Cottman, Curtez Frazier, Sandria Williams, Demontrey Givens, Andre
and Adrian James, Carolyn James and Jaylen McBride; as well as a host
of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family
members and friends.
